- Design is from a picture painted by Vaczlav Van Brozik in 1884, titled "Columbus at the Court of Ferdinand and Isabella", renamed on the stamp "Columbus Soliciting Aid of Isabella". Printed in sheets of 100, cut into panes of 50 for distribution. A few sheets of 100 remain intact today, as well as panes of 50. Quantity issued: 35,248,250.
