Pony Express Family Festival Off to a Roaring Start!

Today marks the 150th anniversary of the start of the famous Pony Express Service. In celebration of this anniversary, the Smithsonian National Postal Museum is hosting a Family Festival centered around Pony Express related activities. Throughout the day, several hundred people participated in the various activities. A few pictures from today's festival are featured below. Enjoy!
