International Mail (11)
Another example of mail to Spain prepaid by postage stamps.
This time the letter is franked with a pair of 1/2 real
plata stamps, apparently because it weight between 1/2
and one ounce (double weight).
The letter was posted at Havana on December 16, 1856,
and arrived at Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands,
on January 16, 1857.
