Blowing their whistles and puffing steam, trains pulled into the Postal Museum just in time for Father’s Day! The Washington, DC Z-Bends Track Group and the Rappahannock Model Railroad Club brought their impressive model train layouts and the Railway Mail Service Library staffed an information table.
Fun family activities included tooting train whistles, innovating ways to move the mail faster, and learning to talk like a “mail slinger.”
