Student Tours : Self Guided Student Tours

Self Guided Student Tours

You don’t have to make a reservation to bring your students to the Postal Museum for the Self-Guide Exploration! We always welcome our drop-in groups, and we encourage you to use our self-guide map!

The Museum's Self-Guide for Kids and self-guided brochure for adults are available in a kiosk at the bottom of the escalators at the entrance to the Museum. Copies of pre-visit materials below and the self-guided brochures are also downloadable from this webpage. Students may explore the galleries in small groups to find answers to questions posed in the self-guided brochure. Self-guided groups may visit the Museum at any time during regular museum hours.

Self-guided student tours are recommended for:
  • Students in grades 7 - 12
  • Summer camps
  • Scout troops
  • Afterschool programs

Teachers and student group leaders may download the pre-visit materials and self-guided student tour brochure below: In addition, you might find Curriculum Guide page helpful in preparing for a trip to the museum. Some of them are interactive web pages, some are PDF files that you can download. Explore each curriculum and find the right fit for you!
