Jeanette C. Rudy Duck Stamp Collection

Famed collector Jeanette C. Rudy donated a portion of her renowned duck stamp collection to the museum on August 14, 2006. This new donation includes the first Federal Duck Stamp (Scott RW1) ever sold and a unique cover mailed with the 1934 Federal Duck Stamp carried on board the Graf Zeppelin.

It also contains a selection of Federal Duck Stamps on state hunting licenses, a nearly complete collection of remarques, and a complete set of mint singles and plate blocks of every issue.

Errors include a imperforate strip of three of the first Federal Duck Stamp issue and singles and plate blocks of the 1993 issue missing the black engraving color (Scott RW60).
