To honor the stylish passenger trains of the 1930s and 1940s, the Postal Service depicted them from dramatic angles rather than in profile. Ted Rose’s watercolor shows the 20th Century Limited pulling out of the Chicago railyards on its way to New York, with the Board of Trade Building in the distance.
