Although this stamp was issued in 1963, its artwork is a timeless tribute to a service that nearly all city-dwelling Americans now take for granted. This illustration is also vintage Rockwell, from the dutiful civil servant and the enthusiastic youth to the dog racing purposefully at their heels.
