Marvin Mattelson was originally commissioned to develop
a “Thinking of You” stamp, but his sketch
for this elegant painting found a welcome home in the
Love series. This stamp was the first Love design not
to feature the actual word somewhere in the art; the
design team felt that the swans’ heart-shaped
necks implied the subject perfectly. |
