OBJECT SHOWCASE: Crash Covers

A series of stamps, an envelope and memo from the collection of Postmaster General James Farley that is in the National Postal Museum. As the message notes, the stamps were found in the wreckage of a mail airplane at Lone Peak, Utah on December 15, 1936.
