U.S. airmail stamps celebrate the aircraft and individuals that represent the history and growth of aviation. These pages showcase some of the most interesting and colorful items from the National Postal Museum's U.S. airmail collections.

Because of the sensitivity of paper materials to light exposure, airmail stamps and envelopes are among the items rotated on and off exhibit at the National Postal Museum.
