Construction Status

Progress on the William H. Gross Stamp Gallery is moving quickly. The first official turnover by the General Contractor happened on schedule in late January and the custom casework - and installation crew - from Milan, Italy arrived in perfect time. More than 450 custom-built frames are now in place. New gallery walls are going up and the individual thematic galleries are starting to take shape. The National Postal Museum team has been working closely with the exhibit fabricator to review exhibit case construction for temperature/humidity control and security. No detail is being overlooked.
